20 years ago, WWF's LJN big rubber wrestlers were some of the coolest figures out there. Kids could bring all their favorite wrestling stars such Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, The Junkyard Dog, Iron Sheik, Roddy Piper, and Nikolai Volkoff , right into their very own toy ring and have hours, months, and years of great action figure wrestling.

As action figures progressed, so did the WWF toys, as Hasbro was next to get hte WWF toy line, and released much smaller figures, that actually moved instead of being giant pieces of rubber, and these figures had also had a successful run from 1989 to around 1994 with the new generation of stars like the Ultimate Warrior, Demolition, The Big Bossman, Earthquake, and an overall bigger roster than the LJN series from the 80's. WCW also released a small figure line with their stars like Ric Flair, Sting, Lex Luger, Sid Vicious, and a few more, but WCW never capitalized on the toy scene like the WWF did.

JAKKS got the WWE toy license next, and released TONS and TONS of WWE figure lines over the years beginning in 1996. The Jakks line produced more figures than any previous line could dream of.  The WWE Classic Superstars line was one of the most popular lines, highlighting the legends of wrestling. In their classic superstars line, Jakks even included 1 figure per series that was rubber and is an "LJN" style classic star, which is awesome to see them giving props to the legendary LJN series that started it all.

Mattel now has the WWE action figure line, and continues innovating with many technological advances that make for more realistic WWE figures than ever.

Best Selling Toys features figures from ALL era's, from Hulkamania era to today's John Cena, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and even the toy line from TNA Wrestling which features their current stars Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Sting, and many more current and classic wrestling stars in action figure form.
