Masters of the Universe ruled the toy world in the early 80's.  It was a show that allowed kids to see tons of their favorite characters from the cartoon appear on toy shelves, and sometimes before the character even debuted on the cartoon.  He-Man was the lead character of the show, and his battles with Skeletor produced hours of great cartoon action, and a toy line that set a new standard.
